This is a wonderful product!! I am very, very happy with its performance.
Sure helps keep my floor clean
It works awesome…just be prepared to pay for the app to operate.
I got this vacuum about 3 weeks ago, after a different brand robot vacuum quit after 5 years. The difference in features developed over that time has really been apparent.Pros:Quality is clearly high. The parts feel durable, and ongoing monitoring of the remaining durability of brushes, rollers, etc. through the app gives you a clear idea of how to stay on top of maintenance.Setup was quick and took about 15 minutes, including unboxing. The initial mapping took about 20 minutes, and then it was ready to go.The app does a good job of making things easy with the ability to maintain various schedules and clean specific zones. It also maintains a detailed map of your house and can even store more than one map if you use it on multiple floors. Connecting to WiFi was easy through the app.The cleaning ability of this vacuum is high. This vacuum can really get into corners, and with the roller mop instead of rotating mop heads or pads, it actually cleans up spills into a dirty water reservoir instead of just “cleaning” by spreading the spill out over a larger area. One of my favorite things about this vacuum is the obstacle detection. I have kids. Kids are messy. My old vacuum would rarely finish a cycle without getting stuck, would eat cords, and generally had to be babysat. This one does a great job of avoiding obstacles by using high-quality sensors, and the few small things that it might not be sensitive enough to detect, it almost always has the suction power to pick up.Cons:The app with this vacuum isn’t the most intuitive for creating zones with the map or picking specific rooms to clean.During initial setup, the how-to videos page I was sent to was entirely in a different language. The videos themselves were fine, but it was a headache to figure out which ones were valuable to me.
I've gone from our Eufy 11S "bounce" non smart robot, I was happy with that one but I did really want one that had the mapping and mopping functions. I was between this Eufy E25 (this one) and the Eufy X10 pro omni as I wanted one that mapped, mopped and that came in white, and there were only these two choices in this brand. There were a few factors that made my choice, listing here.- The mopping types (roller vs rotating) and the downward pressure for scrubbing (higher on this one)- The height of the robot itself for getting under furniture (the E25 is slightly shorter at 4.37in vs the X10 at 4.47in)- The basestation is also slightly shorter which fits into my cabinet (E25 at 14.53x18.15x17.17 vs X10 14.41x18.9x18.11)- Lastly, I did wait for a sale after Christmas and this one was slightly less expensive overall. So the fine details did really matter to me, but overall either would have been a great choice. The mapping function is great, the mop does an excellent. Raising the mop over carpet hasn't failed me once. Moving it from the main floor to my carpeted upstairs or to my basement has been fine, but it is frustrating that it always wants to clean the mop the second it touches another level of the house, EVEN IF it was literally just done. This function cannot be overridden, so I have attempted to make a habit of making sure it has done it before I initiate the task but even then it just wants to do it again. Very happy with it after using it for about a month.(Eufy feel free to send one for my basement, hint hint?)
