It's an open ear, safe for work and workout.They sound good, no complaints.
This is my first pair of open-ear headphones, and even though I'm the type of person who'd rather full coverage, the sound is actually quite good. Can't say I'm surprised though, this is a very good brand! I just prefer full coverage. I will add to say that these were very helpful last year when I had my concussion, and needed some brown noise in the background to sleep, or to pay attention better in class! I would definitely buy these again.

10/10 for comfort. Very clear. Had noise canceling ones before but wanted something that I could still have a conversation while wearing. I wear glasses and the over the ear doesn't bother me. Forget I'm wearing them when I don't had a podcast on or watching YouTube
