This thing is a real game-changer, and it has far exceeded my expectations. We don’t remove our shoes at the door, so there is always a little dust or outdoor get on the floor, or rather there USED TO BE, because the Eufy Omni S2 cleans our floors like a champ! The initial mapping really surprised me, this things identified and mapped most of our home by camera, it had identified bedrooms, bathrooms, our kitchen, I was really impressed. While previous robots could be heard bumping into objects day and night while cleaning, the S2 is to smart for that, it can see obstacles and avoids them. Speaking of avoiding obstacles, the S2 will drop map icons to mark things like shoes, electrical cords and other objects that have been left on the floor. We sometimes provide our cat a treat on a small paper plates, and while previous robots would run over them and drag those plates all around the house, the S2 will mark and avoid them. When commanded to clean a specific room, the S2 goes there veia the most direct route and makes short work of the task. This thing reminds me of those cleaning robots that were in the movie Wall-E.Easy assembly, easy, no-tool set-up, the app is awesome and user-friendly, and this thing is super quiet in operation. I doesn’t spook my cat or interrupt phone calls or television viewing. The only negative thing I could post about the S2 is that the price could be a little lower, but I also get it, you get what you pay for and they have surely packed a lot into the Omni S2. Hey Eufy, if you’re reading this . . . If you ever upgrade to a reusable dust bin instead of a disposable bag, it would be nice if your loyal customers received that upgrade for free or maybe only the cost of postage :-)

I have been wanting a new robot vacuum and mop combo for quite a while now. I have owned a couple cheaper options before this, but I was constantly dealing with navigation issues, missed spots, getting stuck, and having to rescue it more often than I’d like. Eufy is one of the top tier brands when it comes to robot vacuums, so when I saw their new Omni S2, it looked like exactly what I had been wanting. After using it, I can honestly say it is.Right from the beginning, this feels like a premium product. Both the robot and docking station feel high quality and incredibly well made, and the entire system has a sleek, modern design that looks every bit like the flagship model it is. The base is definitely larger than I expected though, and because of its shape it’s a little harder to hide than some other docks. Thankfully it looks nice enough that I don’t mind leaving it out. Everything arrived very securely packaged, and the setup couldn’t have been much easier. It comes with an extra dust bag and a bottle of cleaning solution, which was a nice bonus. The only thing I wish was different is that you could use your own floor cleaning solution instead of purchasing replacements directly from Eufy. It’s a minor complaint, but having that flexibility would have been nice. One feature I wasn’t expecting to enjoy as much as I do is the fragrance diffuser. The vacuum comes with three fragrance pods that install directly into the robot itself, and they smell amazing. It’s such a unique little touch that makes the house smell fresh while it’s cleaning and helps the entire experience feel even more premium.The Eufy app has a nice layout and is easy to figure out pretty quickly. It has a ton of customization, yet everything is laid out in a way that’s easy to understand. I can start a cleaning cycle, check on its progress, schedule cleanings, or set Do Not Disturb hours so it won’t start cleaning when I don’t want the extra noise. The vacuum connected almost instantly, and within just a few minutes it had already started mapping my home. The entire process was incredibly smooth. I also love that you can control everything from your phone or even your Apple Watch. I can have it start cleaning my house while I am away and know that I will always come home to a clean house.I knew this was going to be a seriously impressive robot vacuum, but I was still shocked at how good it truly is. It doesn’t just pick up surface debris, it actually gets stuff that’s buried down in the carpet. My dog sheds constantly, and I swear this thing picks up hair I didn’t even realize was there. The cyclonic dust collection system also helps maintain strong suction instead of quickly losing performance as debris builds up, so it continues cleaning just as well throughout the job. The anti-tangle roller brush has been another huge improvement. Hair simply doesn’t wrap around it the way it did on my previous robot vacuums, so I’m no longer spending time cutting tangled hair off the brush after every few runs.While it’s actually cleaning, it’s surprisingly quiet considering how powerful it is.But, the mopping performance blew me away even more than the vacuuming. It transitions from hardwood to carpet extremely well. I did notice the tiniest amount of moisture right at the edge where the carpet begins, but it was barely noticeable. Nothing that makes me love it any less. And, I don’t have to constantly worry about maintaining the docking station. The clean and dirty water tanks are both generously sized, so I don’t have to refill or empty them except for once a month, if not longer. But the best part, it does not smell like stinky dirty stale water either. My house is just clean without much effort from me, giving me more time to spend with my kids and dog. We’re a busy, high-traffic “family hub” home, and the Eufy Omni S2 has taken the constant cleanup burden off our plates.A few reasons it’s been perfect for us:• Barefoot family, wood floors throughout — our feet stay clean, no more black soles.• Medical household — my grandma is a fall risk, so the S2 spares her from mopping. My sister is a heart transplant recipient, so the sanitizing mop feature helps keep our environment safer. I’m also an OB nurse in a high-risk clinic, so not tracking germs home matters a lot to us.• No carpet, no shoes-off policy, so floors get dirty fast — the S2 keeps up with it.• Detangling feature works great — despite hairy pillows and a heavily shedding pet, I’ve had zero tangles. I have had my Eufy Omni C28 for some time now and I love it. As soon as the new Eufy Omni S2 came out I was so excited to try it, and I am telling you - if I could rate this thing 50 stars, I would. The C28 is an awesome robot vacuum that I do love also, but the S2 is a whole different ball game.First off the sensors are what sets this robot apart. While the C28 would occasionally hit against leg of a piece of furniture, or maybe a slight confusion over the edge of a rug, the S2 sees everything in front of it and adjusts in real time. The S2 also knows the difference between tile flooring and carpet as it goes from one type of flooring to the other, and it adjust its cleaning mode accordingly. On tile flooring, it dips down for a good mopping pass. On carpeted surfaces, it raises the mop and increases the suction to prevent anything getting wet, and deepens the cleaning of thicker fibers. It's even no problem at all to clean a bathroom, where you have tile floors and small rugs. The small rugs don't get sucked up and dragged around, and the tile floor still gets mopped. The auto floor detection alone is worth upgrading from the C28.Speaking of sensors, can we talk about the tech genius that is the obstacle avoidance in this robot? This feature is, in my opinion, so good that it makes me want to do a show and tell when people come over. Just simply put, it does not crash. Occasionally my C28 would hit a table leg or gently touch a chair while backing up; however, the S2 can spot an object as close as several inches away and will glide by said object with ease. What really shocked me was that this system could also avoid items left on the floor. For example, I often find small toys that my cats have left behind throughout the living room and the S2 successfully steers clear of them without breaking stride. Rubber mice, crinkle balls, etc., this vacuum effortlessly moves around them. This has eliminated the need for me to clean the entire floor prior to running a cleaning cycle. It meticulously moves around table and chair legs without so much as grazing them. It's pretty cool to watch. Heaven knows I've spent an embarrassing amount of time following Eufy around just to watch it in action.Second, the 30,000 Pa suction power on the S2 is literally twice as much suction power as my old C28 produced, and I can honestly say I can notice the difference on my rugs where the C28 would leave a small amount behind. This is particularly true of cat hair. I have a long-haired cat and a short-haired one, and between them both, quite a bit of fur collects on the carpets. The S2 gets all the hair, dirt and dust in one pass. I have two medium-pile rugs, and one high-pile rug, and my expectations were pretty low for all of these. The S2 handles the medium-pile rugs with ease, and does reasonably well on the high-pile rug also, even though it's technically not even designed to be able to.Another huge advance in performance is the Hydro Jet 2.0 with real time self cleaning. It is the coolest thing, because the mop pad remains clean throughout the cleaning cycle (not just when it docks) therefore I do not have to worry about spreading dirty water around on my floors. Additionally, the 99.99% germ removal is something I did not believe I would be concerned about until I saw how clean my floors looked and felt after a cleaning cycle. And you know what I've done zero of? Picking off cat fur from the roller. It's magic. I can't explain it. It's just not there. Nearly 100% of the fur somehow makes it into the filter. It's pretty amazing.Next, let's discuss build quality because it is deserving of a mention. The C28 is well constructed, however, the S2 feels like an advancement in terms of build quality and aesthetics. The robot itself feels quite a bit more substantial and heavy when you pick it up. The buttons on top feel more defined and "click" with a higher precision compared to the feel of the C28 buttons. Everything including the bumper, wheels, and brush housing look/feel like they will last. Even more impressive than that is the base station. It has height and weight to it, and does not rattle or feel flimsy. That is clearly not a cheap plastic toy; it feels like a legitimate appliance that was thoughtfully designed.One of my favorite aspects of the mindful design of the base station is how easy it is to fill the clean water reservoir and empty the dirty water reservoir. Filling the clean water tank is easier than filling the clean water tank on my C28; The clean water reservoir slides out easily with one hand, has a wide enough opening that allows you to pour without spilling and slides back in with a definite "click" indicating that it is securely fastened. The way it's designed, it lifts very easily off the top of the base, and you can tell very easily if the water is running low without needing to check your app notifications. The internal light on the base also changes color to indicate when there is some kind of issu...

Hair simply doesn’t wrap around it the way it did on my previous robot vacuums, so I’m no longer spending time cutting tangled hair off the brush after every few runs.While it’s actually cleaning, it’s surprisingly quiet considering how powerful it is.But, the mopping performance blew me away even more than the vacuuming. The HydroJet 2.0 roller mop continuously cleans itself while it works, so it isn’t just dragging around a dirty mop pads. My floors have been absolutely spotless after every cleaning. They look freshly mopped and actually feel clean under bare feet. I hate wearing socks, especially around the house. So when walking I don’t want to be able to feel little crumbs or dust under my feet. And with this robot vacuum, I don’t ever have to worry about that. We have a combination of carpet, hardwood, and laminate in our house. So being able to clean the hardwood floors without making the carpet wet was a big deal for us. It transitions from hardwood to carpet extremely well. I did notice the tiniest amount of moisture right at the edge where the carpet begins, but it was barely noticeable. Nothing that makes me love it any less. And, I don’t have to constantly worry about maintaining the docking station. The clean and dirty water tanks are both generously sized, so I don’t have to refill or empty them except for once a month, if not longer. But the best part, it does not smell like stinky dirty stale water either. My house is just clean without much effort from me, giving me more time to spend with my kids and dog. Which is the best part about having the Omni S2 in my opinion.One of the features that stood out to me was the sanitizing mopping system. Eufy states it removes up to 99.99% of germs, which adds another level of confidence knowing the floors aren’t just looking cleaner but are being sanitized as well. This is hands-down the best household item next to our stove. We’re a busy, high-traffic “family hub” home, and the Eufy Omni S2 has taken the constant cleanup burden off our plates.A few reasons it’s been perfect for us:• Barefoot family, wood floors throughout — our feet stay clean, no more black soles.• Medical household — my grandma is a fall risk, so the S2 spares her from mopping. My sister is a heart transplant recipient, so the sanitizing mop feature helps keep our environment safer. I’m also an OB nurse in a high-risk clinic, so not tracking germs home matters a lot to us.• No carpet, no shoes-off policy, so floors get dirty fast — the S2 keeps up with it.• Detangling feature works great — despite hairy pillows and a heavily shedding pet, I’ve had zero tangles. Only once did I find a small piece of plastic caught on the brush, not hair.• Nightlight makes it easy to see corners when it’s cleaning after dark.• Battery life is excellent — it cleans our whole house on standard mode plus extra tasks without dying, a huge upgrade from my old vacuum. I have had my Eufy Omni C28 for some time now and I love it. As soon as the new Eufy Omni S2 came out I was so excited to try it, and I am telling you - if I could rate this thing 50 stars, I would. The C28 is an awesome robot vacuum that I do love also, but the S2 is a whole different ball game.First off the sensors are what sets this robot apart. While the C28 would occasionally hit against leg of a piece of furniture, or maybe a slight confusion over the edge of a rug, the S2 sees everything in front of it and adjusts in real time. The S2 also knows the difference between tile flooring and carpet as it goes from one type of flooring to the other, and it adjust its cleaning mode accordingly. On tile flooring, it dips down for a good mopping pass. On carpeted surfaces, it raises the mop and increases the suction to prevent anything getting wet, and deepens the cleaning of thicker fibers. It's even no problem at all to clean a bathroom, where you have tile floors and small rugs. The small rugs don't get sucked up and dragged around, and the tile floor still gets mopped. The auto floor detection alone is worth upgrading from the C28.Speaking of sensors, can we talk about the tech genius that is the obstacle avoidance in this robot? This feature is, in my opinion, so good that it makes me want to do a show and tell when people come over. Just simply put, it does not crash. Occasionally my C28 would hit a table leg or gently touch a chair while backing up; however, the S2 can spot an object as close as several inches away and will glide by said object with ease. What really shocked me was that this system could also avoid items left on the floor. For example, I often find small toys that my cats have left behind throughout the living room and the S2 successfully steers clear of them without breaking stride. Rubber mice, crinkle balls, etc., this vacuum effortlessly moves around them. This has eliminated the need for me to clean the entire floor prior to running a cleaning cycle. It meticulously moves around table and chair legs without so much as grazing them. It's pretty cool to watch. Heaven knows I've spent an embarrassing amount of time following Eufy around just to watch it in action.Second, the 30,000 Pa suction power on the S2 is literally twice as much suction power as my old C28 produced, and I can honestly say I can notice the difference on my rugs where the C28 would leave a small amount behind. This is particularly true of cat hair. I have a long-haired cat and a short-haired one, and between them both, quite a bit of fur collects on the carpets. The S2 gets all the hair, dirt and dust in one pass. I have two medium-pile rugs, and one high-pile rug, and my expectations were pretty low for all of these. The S2 handles the medium-pile rugs with ease, and does reasonably well on the high-pile rug also, even though it's technically not even designed to be able to.Another huge advance in performance is the Hydro Jet 2.0 with real time self cleaning. It is the coolest thing, because the mop pad remains clean throughout the cleaning cycle (not just when it docks) therefore I do not have to worry about spreading dirty water around on my floors. Additionally, the 99.99% germ removal is something I did not believe I would be concerned about until I saw how clean my floors looked and felt after a cleaning cycle. And you know what I've done zero of? Picking off cat fur from the roller. It's magic. I can't explain it. It's just not there. Nearly 100% of the fur somehow makes it into the filter. It's pretty amazing.Next, let's discuss build quality because it is deserving of a mention. The C28 is well constructed, however, the S2 feels like an advancement in terms of build quality and aesthetics. The robot itself feels quite a bit more substantial and heavy when you pick it up. The buttons on top feel more defined and "click" with a higher precision compared to the feel of the C28 buttons. Everything including the bumper, wheels, and brush housing look/feel like they will last. Even more impressive than that is the base station. It has height and weight to it, and does not rattle or feel flimsy. That is clearly not a cheap plastic toy; it feels like a legitimate appliance that was thoughtfully designed.One of my favorite aspects of the mindful design of the base station is how easy it is to fill the clean water reservoir and empty the dirty water reservoir. Filling the clean water tank is easier than filling the clean water tank on my C28; The clean water reservoir slides out easily with one hand, has a wide enough opening that allows you to pour without spilling and slides back in with a definite "click" indicating that it is securely fastened. The way it's designed, it lifts very easily off the top of the base, and you can tell very easily if the water is running low without needing to check your app notifications.
