This is the real deal buddy. I’ve had previous generations, built rock solid and an absolute beast durability. It’s like an elephant absolute unit.
Good or bad, we often leave without our house keys now.It reports activity rather quickly (though could be faster) and I like the data is stored on the device for viewing. I loathe subscription services (at a certain point people are going to bail out of the "subscribe to life" model companies are pushing.)The battery life for now has seemed great. Its been installed for 5 months and I havent had to charge it. I probably will soon just so I dont forget and then it actually becomes necessary.Only complaint I havent been able to figure out is randomly and usually around 11 or so, it'll chime. No one around and battery is full. I dont know why it does it yet.
I’ve had a couple other battery powered locks. None of those can compare to this one. The palm recognition works great even under rain conditions, unlike the finger locks. It comes with a screen in the back that you can manually turn on with a button, and it also turns on when someone rings the door bell. With the app you get notifications, replays, and can see live. You can two way talk with people at the door. You set up palm and code entries through the same app. You can also delete those at anytime you want through the app without having to reset the device like most.
Excellent
Installation was easy and works like a charm.
