This docking station is great. It works with Mac and Windows. It even charges some computers I have that require 2 USB connections to charge with just the single provided USB C cable!!!
Great dock overall. No problems after over 6 months of use. Only gripe is that it only supports 2k for one monitor. If you have a dual set up, one monitor can be full 2k resolution but the other will only be supported up to 1080p. Not a deal breaker if you dont care about two different resolutions.
This docking station is an absolute life-saver. Setup was a breeze for this (plug it in, plug your peripherals in and you’re going) and has substantially eased moving from laptop to my workstation. It offers ample ports, fast connectivity, and seamlessly integrates with my daily peripherals to provide a single, simple, powered connection to my laptop. It takes up very little space on my desktop as well. Overall, this is a great product and meets the standard that I’ve come to expect from Anker.
I’m really pleased with this usb dock. Anker is a good brand for chargers but I was a little sceptical about a specialised appliance like this. Needless to say it works really well. It’s a big upgrade over the old Lenovo dock I had. I use it to run an ultra wide 1440p monitor, wireless keyboard and mouse, blue yeti mic, anker 2k webcam and creative speakers. All of these peripherals connected and it works flawlessly. I also charge my iPhone from the front ports.It has a display which isn’t that useful to me but it’s nice to see how much power my MacBook is pulling.The best part is it doesn’t need a big power brick.
