This simple little gizmo is just amazing.I use it frequntly to transfer data from several sd card types in different cameras to pc.Nothing fancy; just does the job perfectly each time!
This is a good card reader
I had this card reader for several years now. It is small, simple to use and the transfer speed is fast. The only issue I am having (which is why this is four star instead of five), is the reader is currently only able to read from my SD cards, but not write to it. I have no problem with writing to the card in different readers, or directly from the devices they are being used in. But when I try to write or remove files using this reader, I am unable to do so. It complains of write protection, but the switch is not set for my SD cards, and there is no switch for micro SD cards.
I got the USB-A reader and it works great. It's fast and compact. I recently wanted to plug in two cards, one in each slot, and copy data from a micro card to another micro card with the adapter cartridge on a transcend reader and it would lose its mind with two cards in one adapter, so either I needed two adapters or an adapter that would let me copy from one card to another. Using this Anker adapter it works to copy from card to card using only this one adapter. Highly recommend. I'm back to buy a couple more for spares.
Works good to read/write micro SD cards for my 3D printer.
