My S380 sata HDD was showing signs of fatigue and overheating. I had a bunch of older 4TB SATA HDD lying around so this was a purchase for economical reasons and a performance upgrade. I am very pleased with the performance of the pro S1, faster wifi, better cooling and intuitive AI features. The cameras seem to be picking up more events, motions that were otherwise missed with s380. The setup was pretty straight forward with most cameras seamlessly migrating, had to repeat the process once and then manually add 1 camera. I especially like checking the playback, its much faster and easier to navigate. I had to add my standard door sensors manually, but it was very easy and quick. Overall everything seems more stable and responsive. I highly recommend this product.

I am struggling with 3 things:
Migrating my existing devices over from my HomeBase 2
adding my S40 camera
gwtting my new S1 to work wirelessly (currently plugged into my router) in my basement instead of my living room (where my homebase2 sits on the first floor).
can you please help me?
