I bought this to connect a monitor to a laptop (usb 3.2 gen 2) for work so I can use two additional monitors.This hub works to connect a monitor (HDMI) to my laptop (usb 3.2 gen 2).There is noticeable lag though.Direct HDMI connection to my laptop HDMI port results in smooth mouse movement across the screen and smooth video playback.HDMI connected through this hub results in jittery mouse movement, and video playback looks very choppy.I haven't used any other ports yet. I don't know if this is the hub's fault, or laptop limitation, or technology limitation. My laptop says the monitor is running at 3840x2160 30 hz.
The item works as advertised The copies are very fast as compared to my old USB-A hub.
When I work on my professional stunt bike documents, I like to have multiple USB devices going at once. Scanners. Printers. Drives. Cameras. Little twinkly lights.This hub (LEGIT!) works great. I've traveled all over with it in my bag. So far so good! Would buy again.
